    Roles & Responsibilities

    My client is the world’s most comprehensive, accurate and technologically advanced real-time TV analytics and TV synced ads solution.  Due to an Increase in activity and campaigns in Germany, they are now looking for a Sales Director to support their efforts in Germany. Location wise they prefer Hamburg but are open to suggestions based on the right candidate. NOTE This person will be the first person based in Germany and the role could evolve into a Country Manager role.


    Job profile:

    • Deliver revenue targets and manage assigned accounts in the DACH region, predominately Germany.
    • Increase and aggressively exceed revenue targets from my client's Advertising Solutions.
    • Manage all opportunities by utilizing
    • Professionally manage leads provided by marketing and sales management.
    • Obtain additional knowledge and visibility through attending industry events.
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of the competition and professionally represent my client to its customer base.
    • Emphasize consultative selling that focuses on rapport-building by gaining a thorough understanding of the client’s business and needs in order to increase selling opportunities
    • Build long-term and loyal customer relationships for the company.
    • Responsible to relay information from ad operations, campaign management and the commercial team to the client like advertising agencies, ATD’s, service providers
    • Offering clients insight on delivery and reporting
    • Creating presentations and proposals
    • Delegation and escalation within the team
    • This role will report into the VP of EMEA Sales based in London and the candidate has the opportunity to grow a team based on hitting revenue targets. As the first person on the ground you must be able to balance both sales and account management skills.


    Candidate Profile: 

    • 5+ years experience in the field of sales and account management building sustainable revenue and working within a client facing team within digital display advertising or a complimentary sector
    • Comfortable dealing with new business as well as account enquiries. Main prospects include leading agencies, service providers and ATDs
    • Experienced in and motivated by sales, hitting targets, evangelizing in the industry and building a business from the ground up 
    • Demonstrable understanding and enthusiasm for real-time advertising, digital technologies and data
    • Highly motivated, strong attention to detail and  enthusiastic about your discipline
    • You have shown excellence in delivery and growing accounts
    • Motivated to travel 50% or more of your time to see clients across the DACH region
