    Enterprise Sales Engineer – DACH

    The Enterprise Platform team is responsible for growing out the Media and Data driven SaaS solutions within their German markets. Enterprise Platform is a programmatic marketing hub that empowers the world's best brands to engage audiences in progressively relevant conversations across a full spectrum of paid and owned digital channels. Data Management Platform (DMP), powered by the Predictive Optimization Engine (POE™) and a wholly-integrated DSP, blends first and third-party data with predictive decisioning to engage audiences across online display, mobile web, apps, email, site, and other digital channels. This is why the world’s best brands including seven of the top financial services advertisers rely on DMP for their programmatic marketing. 

    Currently they are looking for a sales engineer to support sales in presenting DMP platform and product capabilities, leading the early implementation and solution outline process and post-sale hand off to the client services and implementation teams. The sales engineer is responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. This role is the key technical advisor to sales and will attend pitches, define solutions for RFP’s, structure pilots for large enterprise opportunities and ensure successful transition to onboard new customers. 


    • Become subject matter expert on DMP product usage, implementation and positioning.
    • Articulate product positioning to both business and technical audiences and support sales in effectively positioning DMP solutions against competing offerings. Participate in the development and delivery of technical presentations to key business decision makers.
    • Maintain existing and develop new environments and tools for sales to demonstrate DMP cross channel programmatic marketing capabilities.
    • Understand the client’s business objectives fully and design a technical solution to meet them. This includes but is not limited to evaluating marketing programs across paid and owned channels, 1st and 3rd party data integration, and technology vendor requirements.
    • Document customer functional requirements and proposed roadmap to meet client goals. Consult with product management, implementation, development and other teams to ensure delivery of appropriate solutions within specified target.
    • Design and project manage integration pilots with new partners and clients as necessary.
    • Support sales team in authoring responses to the technical elements of RFI/RFP responses and sales proposals, and review MSAs, SLAs, and SOWs for relevant technical details.
    • Keep current with latest industry trends and best practices to inform near term proof-of-concepts and long term scalable solutions.


    Desired background and experience:

    • BS degree in Computer Science or related major (in lieu of degree, 5 years of work experience in relevant field).
    • 4+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering or consulting on CRM systems/processes, programmatic marketing, data management platforms (DMPs), ad serving technologies or advanced analytics products.
    • Strong experience in networking related protocols and internet technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, PHP and web servers. Website or application development and experience with CMS technologies
    • Passionate about marketing, data, analytics and technology
